Graham Crackers: Making a comeback

There isn’t enough Graham Crackers love in the world. Being square is good. Or is it rectangular? I love the crunch followed by the melt in your mouth of warm brown sugar cinnamon-y goodness. I love how they are a “go with the flow” kind of snack. You can eat ‘em with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk…whatever. They won’t argue. You need a pie crust: they’re happy to help you. Sprinkle them on a drink: that’s cool too. We’d all smile more if we ate more graham crackers.

Graham Cracker Torte from Eat Live Run. I made this for an office party a week or so ago. Hooooly Crap. I may or may not have pretended to have a coughing attack right near the cake after everyone had a piece so I would have some to take home. I may or may not have taken it home, waited till the child was asleep, lit a candle, pulled a blanket over my lap and slowly eaten a slice of this in the dark while purring.

Graham Cracker S’more Cookies from Always With Butter. Chunks of chocolate are involved. It’s making me all tingly.

Pumpkin Smoothie by Pioneer Woman. Graham cracker and pumpkin are natural friends in my book.

My secret favourite graham cracker treat? Graham crackers. A tub of Duncan Hines Frosting. Take graham cracker, schmear frosting, eat. Don’t judge.
